“Hopeland Cup” Competition to Welcome the Olympics
Hopeland International Kindergarten(hereafter referred to as HIK) held the “Hopeland Cup” Bilingual Languages Competition to welcome the Olympics in August, 2005. Nearly a thousand Chinese and Foreign children joined the competition and the 10 winners won the chance offered by HIK to go to Singapore for the exchange program.

The competition was such a grand occasion. Nearly a thousand Chinese and Foreign children joined the competition and 30 children reached the final competition. HIK invited the education expert of Singapore and experienced professionals all over the world as the judge of the competition. All the children reached the final competition accept the English training by the professional HIK teachers. The final competition had the part of dialogue and talent show. At last, 10 children stood out and became the final winners.

HIK held the first “Hopeland Cup”Bilingual Languages Competition to welcome the Olympics in order to let more children have the chance to experience the “immersion learning” of language. By that way, the children could become more interested in English and finally improve their English a lot.
