The flower thanks rain giving it nutrients to grow; the goshawk thanks sky offering it stage to fly; the mountain thanks land providing it land to sand.
“Thankful” comes from the inner satisfaction, the tolerance and understanding to others and the mentality of rewarding people and society. “Thankful” can stimulate trust, understanding, respect and establishing good relationship. “Thankful” makes less complaining, more honest, more friendly, more happiness and also helps people have positive attitude, healthy body, and light heart. Owning a thankful heart will let people hold hope to life and face the difficulty in the right way. “Thankful” makes one treat himself/herself well and live a happy life.
And in this thankful time, Hopeland International Kindergarten(hereafter referred to as HIK) held an activity with the theme of “Protecting Your Eggs, Showing Your Thanks”. The activity had the part of “Protecting Your Eggs” and “Charity and Donation”. The game “Protecting Your Eggs” made the HIK children understood how hard it is for their parents to take care of them and let them hold thankful and honesty heart to their parents. The activity “Charity and Donation” was a climax during the whole day. Everything being sold had its own story and contained the love. The HIK parents spoke highly of the activity which offered them a good chance to communicate with their children. It also let HIK children hold a thankful heart to their parents and society, inherit the good traditional merit, and set up the good foundation. The HIK children and parents spent a good time here. Finally, all the money coming from charity and donation was given to the Tianjin Charity and the families in need.
The 2009 “Charity and Donation” activity collected 6608yuanRMB in all. Thank you for all the contribution made by HIK children and parents. Some of the HIK children and teachers went to Tianjin Charity to donate the money and joined the program of “Help the Poor in Winter”. The money HIK donated became the start-up capital of the program.
