2012 Charity Activity of HIK on the Christmas Eve
The activity named “Happiness and Dream” was held at Hopeland International Kindergarten(hereafter referred to as HIK)on the Christmas Eve. Ms. Liuli, the Director of Inner Develop Department of China Population Welfare Foundation attended the activity and gave an important speech.
Christmas is the annual happiness season of HIK. There are different themes of each Christmas in HIK. The theme of this year is “The Spirit of Gratefulness and Love”. Under the multi-culture social environment, it is an important part for kindergartens to cultivate children caring about others and holding a grateful heart.
For that reason, HIK added the charity activity named “Dare to Dream” as a part of the Christmas theme. “Dare to Dream” is a charity program set up by the Chinese mainland of AIESEC and China Population Welfare Foundation. The problem aimed at recording the little dream of the countryside children and giving a chance to the children with better living condition to help them realize the dream. At last all the children in that program will be satisfied and treasure their life.
The charity activity was highly supported by the children, teachers and parents. Many HIK children took their favorite toys and book to the campus. They selected some of them and joined the auction. All the money collected would be donated to the children with indecent living condition.
The Christmas tree is decorated with the dream of the children. All the activities held during the Christmas time taught the HIK children caring about others and holding a grateful heart. In this lovely season, let us pray the peace of the world and wish everyone a better life.
