How to Treat Children's Rebellious Attitude?
As children's self-consciousness develops, 3-4 years old children are more tend to be rebellious to adults. This is a common psychology phenomenon. If the parents treat children inappropriately may exacerbate their rebellious behaviors. For example:
1. Paternalistic type of education: don't listen to children’s need but simply tell children what to do and what is not allowed to do
2. Nagging type of education: endless nagging drives children to do more rebellious behaviors
3. Indifferent type of education: children's curiosity and thirst for knowledge is very strong. Parents’ impatience of their questions can lead to children’s rebellious behaviors.
Parents should understand the developing stage of their children, master some basic necessary pediatric psychology knowledge and help children to get through the special stage.
