The customized program "Special Singapore - Hopeland International Overseas Study Tour" set sail yesterday (8-20). The study tour summer camp is made up of the team leader, students, parents, teachers and medical experts. They took Singapore flight from Beijing airport yesterday and at 10:55 arrived in Singapore's capital---Singapore City after 6 hours of flight.
During the 7 days (6 nights) trip, Hopeland International summer camp will be accompanied by professional tour guide who is proficient in both Chinese and English and visit the National University of Singapore, the National Library of Singapore and Singapore Discovery Center. The National University of Singapore is one of the world's top universities and it is famous in engineering, life science, biological medicine, social science, natural science and other fields. The National Library of Singapore is the largest and most advanced Library in Southeast Asia. At present, the library possesses 5.6 million books written in Malay, Chinese, Tamil and English among which are 426711 serials and 127530 monograph. The Singapore Discovery Center is an advanced science and technology museum specially set up by Singapore's Defense Ministry. The summer camp will get the chance to know more about the various education resources of Singapore, study information and related policies and laws.
The summer camp will head for the Universal Studios in Sentosa and enjoys the Wings of Time music fountain at night, visit the Orchid Garden, Orchard Road, Singapore River Safari, Marina Bay Sands, Jurong Bird Park, Chinatown and landmark buildings and facilities in the city. All members can closely feel Singapore unique food culture, business culture, humanity environment and natural environment, relax and appreciate the unique charm of integration of Chinese and Western culture.
In the following days, our teachers will lead the children to kindergartens in Singapore and study, live and communicate with Singapore children, experience the concept, methods and curriculum of early childhood education in Singapore.
