In this August summer morning, Hopeland International Kindergarten (HIK) welcomed a special group of elder friends as 2015 Blossom Age International Summer Camp visited Hopeland. 48 students from the United States, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Japan and China came to visit HIK as exchange tour. They got the chance to closely feel the preschool education in China as well as the spirit of eastern culture, and witness the happy childhood of Chinese children themselves.
In a wooden villa of Hopeland International Meijiang Campus, Drake (Chinese name Wei Yun), a middle school student from Chicago, was very interested in the Steinway piano in the classroom and improvised a serenade. "This kind of piano is very expensive, we don't have many chance to play such piano even in the United States, but here, in each classroom there is a piano, Chinese children are so lucky." said Drake.
When visiting Bruno Natatorium, the members were amazed by its professional design and water environment that meets the physiological and psychological needs of our children. "oh, my god!" they gasped with admiration. Linda (Chinese name Li Chuntian), a girl from the Italian fashion city Milan excitedly asked:"is it really a kindergarten? I feel like being in a dream! If I can return to childhood, I must be a student here, and swim freely like a little fish."
Later on HIK students and the elder brothers and sisters presented the splended theatical performances together in Bruno Dream Theater. "We came to Tianjin on July 9th and visited Binhai new area, ancient culture street, the fifth avenue, the cultural center and so on. Today we come to HIK that is so advanced and we didn't expect there would be such a nice international kindergarten in China." said the camp members. “Tianjin is a beautiful city, and Tianjin people are very warm, we like the city and we hope we can have the chance in the future to be a teacher in the kindergarten.”
